Has anybody here used Hybrid V7 over Blacklight

Most products, generally speaking, do not have that kind of additive effect - in fact, it's more likely that you'll get the look and water behaviour of whatever product you last apply on the paint - hence, for example, the caution that applying a wax or sealant over Opti-Coat will change the beading, sheeting and dirt-repelling properties of the finish.

So, Blacklight > BFWD > Any wax. This combo will work?
WGDGPS

I have the BL>BFWD for a week now, side by side with a BL>V7, and together with sole BFWD only. All these are on my hood. What was odd was the water behaviour of BL>BFWD seems to be different with BFWD only in a sense that beads are tighter for BFWD only. Will wash the car tomorrow and see if there will be any difference in water behavior and looks.

I agree, likely you will get the durability of the first, and the looks/beading of the last.

However that looks factor of the 2nd will likely degrade much faster than if it was applied to the paint directly, since it will not bond as well to a 'product' as it would directly to the paint.

I know this is not the appropriate thread, but it is the appropriate topic. So.....anyone willing to separate with 8oz of Black Light (for me to try) in exchange for 8oz of Hybrid V7 (which I will provide), please PM me. Don't reply to this post directly.
