I did step out and stand alone. Look at my ShMitt review on Autopia. Everyone bashed it and the product. They have never even used it. Most never spend the time to review anything. They only post when it's bad......mostly miss used.
This is my life and passion. I feed my family with it. It's not a hobby to me anymore. Marketing, advertising, book keeping.....alot more now. I review to help others make a decision and not have to spend countless dollars TRYING and TESTING products on their own car with no success.
I would like to see more members review but I guess they are too busy posting stuff like today.

I have a job and its not detailing my hard earned money goes on products as well ..we all have a passion to detail,try other items thats why we frequent the forum..I've always commented on your quality of work its outsatnding,your truly a professional IMHO your reviews have become product reviews and less about your work.. I don't dislike you in anyway..actually what you hear me saying is what i've learned from other forums and found many peole have and will have the same opinions on products/reviews..I understand the entire reason for the forum and respect the people who own and maintain it..this is suppose to be a learning experience ..I remember when you couldn't mention DG..

Guys Guys Guys.. I appologise please forget about it.. no harm done.. I'm just new to this stuff!! And i guess i wanted a head start.. Anyway, I really like detailing, and i'm thinking of starting a detailing bueness sometime soon. I'm testing products now and getting some experience in the field. But sorry i asked about a taboo product..

Oops! Sorry about that Meghan. I didn't realize that was a rule. I had seen posts where non-AG products were talked about before. So, I didn't realize there was a rule against it. Out of respect for AG I have personally always done my best to avoid posting about non-AG products. I'm not saying I have kept to that 100%, but I've made a conscious effort to try and avoid it.

Thanx, that's what i'm doing! But i'm eager to start.. I'm trying to make my collection of good products to use..

In regards to your question, I love Zaino. I think I should be able to discuss it since I've bought quite a bit from Autogeek and that I use it in CONJUNCTION with Autogeek products.

The other day, I used Poorboys SSR2.5, SSR1 and then a layer of Zaino Z2 instead of the usual EX-P. The reason I used it because I think it has much better durability than EX-P. But then again, EX-P is a lot cheaper than Z2 Pro so I'm not sure if I can complain.

And to AG: why don't you guys just resell Zaino stuff? That way I can make all my purchases in one place.

The thing is that I really like AG. I check it everyday from work, and then again when I come home. I wish I could discuss other products here, but I can see where AG is coming from. Of course they want us to discuss their products here, they are running a business.

On the other hand, if I want to learn something about a product that is not sold here (Zaino, for example), I have to go to Autopia. And you know what? I don't like Autopia. It just doesn't have that "family" feel to itif you know what I mean. Everyone knows each other here and we all talk pretty much every day. I think there are about a hundred new people on Autopia ever day and you never know what you're going to get.

Here on AG, we have members that have posted quite a bit and know what they're doing. If I ask for their opinion, I trust the answer 100%.

I don't want AG to feel like they're caught between a rock and a hard place, but I thought I'd share my opinion and thoughts.

IIRC Ziano doesn't allow other stores to sell it's products (don't quote me on that)
 
Not true. I've seen other places that resell Zaino.

They can't ship it out of their state.


The one thing that disappoints me with this is that *most* of the products that get talked about that AG doesn't carry end up being carried by them. Does AG *not* want to know what we want and like to use?
