Has anyone used zaino?

Then you'd like Duragloss Fast Clean & Shine even better, since it's much cheaper.
I know this is an old post. I bought Duragloss back in 2008. I bought three different products. I can say it's one of the best for the price. I use the car wash that adds more polymer, I use 105, and the bonding agent. I use Meguiars Ultimate detailer. I have used MANY online products. Zaino was the last before Duragloss. I had heard on some forums that is was good stuff. I also heard something about Zaino and Duragloss having a connection somewhere. I always am testing the paint and checking for slickness during the winter, etc. The combination I chose seems to work and last. By the way easy to remove. I wish people would stop using the cheap stuff that's hard to remove. I bought a black car with a popular brand white paste wax on it. The guy said he worked all day on the car. HAHAHAHA Well it sure in heck showed all the scratches well enough. Lol

I ditched Zaino products years ago, have never looked back.
Lol I did a test on my car. I did different panels with two different Zaino's and two different Duragloss products. I left them on for around 6 months through the winter, etc. You don't want to know what came out of my mouth . LOL Son of a....

Please... Don't leave us in suspense... Which products did you find that performed best?

About 5 years ago, I placed about a $140 order with Zaino, and got a whole bunch of goodies.

Can't really say anything bad about any of the products I had gotten, all worked well. Maybe seemed a little pricey at the time

The Clay was good, leather conditioner seemed nice, smelled nice.

Z2 was used on the Tahoe a few times, and had the Accelerator Product but quickly went through that with the little mixer bottles.

Even used the Z2 on some non-auto projects with very nice results, like my Turntable's clear coated wooden base.

About the only small gripe with Z2, was I noted a variability of removal of the product. Sometimes it removed quite easily (without the accelerator), and sometimes it seemed to work me quite a bit.

I'm thinking the particular weather conditions played a part, in that during times of extremely low humidity levels here, it dried better, and then came off lickety split. And that higher humidity levels made it quite a bit harder to work with. Perhaps due to a slower dry time?

I've had some very good luck with Zaino.
I've used the whole Zaino line, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z8, everything.
I have an order of Duragloss product coming my way, I hope it holds up as well Zaino does.

Here are some pics after Z5/Z2

Zaino is a very good product. I used to use it years ago when I went to Mustang shows with a 99 35th Anniversary Mustang GT convertible. Since my wife & I have a son, car shows are a thing of the past. The Mustang sits in the Garage. I've run out of Zaino and haven't replaced it. I now use Duragloss on my cars. I used to use Duragloss many years ago, went to the Zaino and now I'm back with Duragloss products. I like the fact that I can go down to my local auto parts store and buy it off the shelf, you can't do that with Zaino.

Funny how DG always comes up in Zaino threads! I tried Zaino Z-2 w/ ZFX about 3 yrs ago, along w/ ZCS and loved the results, gave the orange 2010 Fit I had at the time a real "candy apple" look, awesome! By the time I was near the end of my supply I was turned onto AG and that was that. I will never knock Zaino, it was the "gateway product" for me, LOL!

Anyone out there on the fence between Zaino and DG, get DG, just buy the #601 (polish bnding agent) and mix it in w/ small amounts of whatever other DG product you've bought (#105, 111 or 501...maybe all) and you'll be a very happy person. I suggest applying 2x's the DG product mixed w/ #601 to ensure total coverage and extra protection. DG is EASY ON AND EASY OFF!

I've mentioned before that:
-I've used a few Zaino products (that were purchased by some of the Club's members).

-Probably the best compliment, that I've personally have heard that was given to the "Z"...
was by one of the Club member's wife when she said:
"My favorite color, from now on, will be": "Shiny"

I've discovered that some of the other "acrylic sealants" are a joy to work with...
(with my visually-noticed: sheen, shine, shone...'gloss-attributes'.)

-Dura Gloss #105 (crystal-clear bright shine..."Zaino-ish")
-Klasse (more of a crystal-clear "glow/sheen")
-Jeff Werkstatt (same as Klasse)
-Sonus Acrylic Glanz (just for the name)
-1Z Einszett Glanz Wax (not a sealant...again: just for the name)
-Glanz Catsuits: (Just for a couple of the definitions for Glanz):

:D

So are you pretty confident that duragloss sealants are acrylic?

Yeah it seems Zaino is popular in the Corvette community. I've been hearing my wifes Great Uncle talk about his 26 coats of Zaino on his red, convertable and automatic equipped C5, funny thing is that its been 26 coats for the past 3 yrs, LOL, I just laugh under my breath!

Where did you read that at?
My mention of DuraGloss#105 being acrylic, does not imply that
I'm confident that all Duragloss Sealants are acrylic.

But do you know of a reason why they all shouldn't be?
I don't, in particular.

Surely you're not still worried about acrylic sealants: "etching for better bonding", are you?

Z5 AND Z2. BUT I in no way am saying Zaino was not good. I found Duragloss cheaper to use. If Zaino was the same price I'd use it too. LOL

Beautiful. I am in no way saying that Zaino is bad. I am penny pinching. No I liked Zaino. At the time my husband had cancer and money was tight. I bought Duragloss buy one get one free at the time and it worked out. I have a black Mustang now and so far so good.

I used a lot of ziano a few years back z6, z8, z9, z10 and z16. I have since moved on to bigger and better things. I only use z8 now it's amazing but when it's gone I'm probably gonna try bf polymer spray I heard it beats it.

I have it on my new Jeep (Z2 + Z5) done by local detailers..
I'm also using Z7 wash soap, Z6 quick detailer spray and Z16 tire gel.. I like the products but haven't tried other brands to compare, here are some photos taken right after the detailing job (was not the perfect light due to sunset time low light)
