Has Autogeek discontinued 3D Brand products from their store?

That's because almost all manufacturers are still trying to play the "Shortage Game".

Low supply + high demand = record profits.

I thought it was because of sorry ass Joe Bidenlol.

It is a nice soap. a local 3d store had a sale going on, on top of an online sale. I asked if they'd honor the online sale and they did.

Walked out with a 5 gallon bucket for 35$ - Yup. Excellent deal

That bucket will be around long after you or I….

Manufacturers are not having supply chain shortages but labor issues. They gotta pay people more now than ever to do the basic jobs.

Also everyone was so excited for stimulus “free money”. We were gonna pay it back somehow.

I work as a Pepsi delivery driver in Michigan. Thursday we had icy weather.. 25% of our drivers called in.

Being beat over the head with ‘stay home stay safe’ for two years leads us to where we are now… grown men afraid to drive in winter conditions. What it translates into for everyone is product and freight not being delivered at scheduled rates.

Sad part is nobody gets fired for repeatedly calling in. One guy Thursday showed up to work and told my manager he didn’t feel safe, then walked out the door and went home. We could hire new employees but they’ll bring the same problems to us. There is a real crisis in the American work ethic today.

I have used and thought their YELLOW DEGREASER for wheels/tires is a good product.

Ive gone through gallons of thats stuff! I cut it, so a gallon goes a long way.

Its my main wheel/tire cleaner. Ive also used that stuff to melt grease off underneath a semi tractor. After a couple applications and a pw...grease be gone

That's the downside of safety being taken too far. Safety is the new "get out of jail free" card. There are plenty of items out of stock. In my business I have two suppliers who've been out of stock on certain items for over a year and a half.

Before we had a remote work policy, our call-in line would say if you felt unsafe coming to work you can use a vacation day. Now I would just work from home. I wouldn't expect delivery drivers to have a WFH option but who knows these days....

Some dont realize that their laziness in not wanting to work is what will kill human jobs. Look how much self checkouts rule the shopping experience now. I remember when there was many cashiers...now only one or two on a shift and a dozen self checkouts. Its only one example of the age of entitlement and lazy ppl. Folks expect high wages for a low level job. Its a shame.

It seems the younger workforce for part-time jobs has shifted to retiree-aged workers as well. Grocery stores, department stores, fast food, suburban sit-down restaurants…places that were the go-to’s for part-time, high school aged workers are now staffed by the older folks…if at all.

We were thrilled to get that first job, often getting Work Permits so we could work at 14/15 years old so we could have, you know…MONEY to spend on dumb teenage necessities. Seems like many of those go-to part time entities are ghost towns now.

I’d hate to be an owner of one of those businesses today with the constant staffing issues; they’re ALWAYS looking for help.

I recently placed an order on AG. I was prepared to spend about $300 bucks, I ended up spending $98 after I found most of the things I came looking for were out of stock. To eBay I go…!

How do you not have 1gal jugs of 303 in stock?

I originally posted this thread wondering if 3D was being discontinued. That is likely the case, but I learned many other brands/items are also significantly OOS..

eBay and other sources are probably cheaper any way

I like to support AG as much as I can. Their videos, tutorials, and this forum have been a enormous help for me getting my business rolling.

Their reward program and their customer service is also top notch. You don’t get any of these benefits when saving $2 with a random eBay seller.

I like the Geek but am I the only one who finds the new website design hard to “surf”?

Agreed, It turned me off right after it switched over. Sometimes change is not good, imo

Ago gets zero surf time from me.

I dislike having to go thru a bunch of pages to look at products. That's why I don't buy much on Prime Day anymore. You can set AG to load 96 products per page but it's still scroll, wait for images to load, scroll, etc. I don't have the patience for that.

Whoever designed their new app, and then also their second ‘new app’ needs fired.

I only place orders on my PC now. And like you said, you either know what you need or you don’t shop. There’s no convenient, fluid way of surfing through their inventory.
