Yesterday I was applying an AIO with a white LC polishing pad when I stopped on a section pass. I had the speed locked on 4 with the trigger and when I hit the trigger to disengage the machine it kept running at a VERY low speed (under 1). I hit the trigger a few more times thinking it had just jammed. Nothing would make the machine stop spinning until I unplugged it. Then it would not restart. The machine was barely even warm. I tried it again today and still nothing. Luckily I have 2 Flexs and was able to finish the job with my older machine. The problem machine is about 18 months old now and gets used about 4 days a week on average. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If you search here I believe a few have had issues with the trigger.

I had to order new switches for my Flex, was going through about the same ratio as you if not sooner.

Good to know. I just ordered a second Flex today. Don't want to be dead in the water.

Thanks to all that have replied. I will take it apart tomorrow and try to see if swapping parts with my older Flex can isolate the problem. I just recently put new brushes in the older machine so I don't think it is brushes as there is 18 months difference between the two.
