Have any of you guys tried this polisher?

What are you talking about man?

Listen to the sound clip.... sounds pretty real to me....

A proprietary LINT (Laser Imaging Nano-Technology), coupled with an internal flux capacitor, scans surfaces and automatically adjusts orbit speeds and patterns for optimal results.

A flux capacitor!

LOL the crazy frog... You know it's a joke. That thing looks like it was hand made out of clay.

Watch it actually be an April Fools prank but if anyone bought one, Griots just gives them a 6" instead.

So a 6" Griots DA for $25 would be a steal.

If it actually went all the way through and let you check out, I would have to think it is real. Unless they are pulling a stunt like I said.....

Did you read the description?

An internal cooling system circulates unicorn tears through phase-change heat exchangers...

Plus, the system anticipates future scratches so you can polish them away before they happen!

an internal PPU (Physics Processing Unit) wirelessly transmits a complete SCA (Surface Condition Analysis) to any Bluetooth enabled device

After hours, literally hours, of research and development

OK, you can stop thinking it's real...

Yeah I read it the other day and thought it was pretty funny.

No, I dont really think it is real, but I am interested to know how in the world they let him "check out" with it.

Unless Kaban is jerkin' our chains......

If you click check out it goes to an April fools page. I definitely got it kick out of it though!

Also the price is $41.11...... uh 4-1-11 April Fools!

Try adding it to your cart...

However, if it were real, I truly believe people on here would buy it.

I know this thread is already slightly old... however, anyone else find it funny that one of the pics is a guy using that on his glasses while they're on his face. Yeah, 15,000 RPM's and you'd put it right on your face, awesome :xyxthumbs:

I see nothing wrong with the idea of a 1" polisher; but yes, this one is definitely a pretty good joke. It's nice to see businesses playing around a bit on the net for laughs and poking some fun at themselves. I use a 1.5" cheapo motorized-toothbrush-designed hook & loop polisher for wheel crevices and other funky edge surfaces, but it works a lot better than this groits ever could (doesn't spin, just oscillates at a high frequency).

Have any of you ever seen any of Richard Griots videos? He definately has a great sense of humor and doesn't take himself to seriously. I really like that

More information please. I can see the tooth brush, but it's the 1.5 inch part I can't envision.

Thanx...

Bill
