Hi all. If you read through the thread you would know that my first attempt at hydro did not go so well as it seemed to leave stains on my dark color paint. I has to buff out and move on.
Today i tried it on the car I originally intend it for, my 2012 odyssey TE in white. Different paint and better results. Last time I did it in the am, in the shade, was close to 80 degrees outside, diluted 1 part hydro 3 parts water and i let it sit for a few seconds.
This time - I did it in the evening, no sun at all but still good light, about 74 degrees out, 1 part hydro and 6 parts water, applied to one panel at a time and immediately rinsed off with super strong jet of water (not pressure wash).
I really like my results this time. I observed no staining what so ever and hydrophobic qualities Are nicer than the black fire sealant I had on it. I did remove all previous protection/waxes/sealants prior to applying by washing with cg citrus and megs apc, clay, and iron-x. It doesn't shine as nice as my black fire wax and sealant did but it sure does repel water better. The gloss Isn't bad and it isn't the slickest feeling but its not terrible. If it lasts me 3 months as they claim I will be happy because my bf products sure have't lasted long for me. I really only wanted to experiment w it anyway before I opti-coat the mini-van before the winter hits.
Anyway, thanks to all who gave input.
