Have you ever gotten hurt detailing?

i was washing the outside of a gx470 a couple hours ago and in order to reach the roof and wash the center, i had to stand on the tire. i was washing it and all of a sudden the car moved a bit and i almost fell off the tire because i was holding on to the roof rack which was very slippery!

anyone ever actually injured themselves washing a car?

small minor cuts every once in awhile, and banged my leg on a reciever hitch one time (OUCH) !!!
 
Just my knee on a hitch (God that hurt!) and always seem to bang my knuckles up somehow. My back hurts EVERY time I detail!!
 
ya, when im cleaning tight spaces i always jam the end of my finger nail into a corner man does that hurt
 
I remember a certain stained driveway that got slick as ice when wet !!!
 
ahahahahah lol, thats funny. not to make fun of your misfortune, but thats pretty good.

lol, ive hit my head and cut myself up a few times.
 
i slipped n fell on my butt when the stained cement was wet in front of our house. I was gonna turn off the water hose. I also almost fell off the stool washing the 4 Runner. My driveway is pretty angled.
 
Cuts here and there on my hands, especially when I'm cleaning wheels and scrubbing the interior. I also get sunburns if I'm not careful...
 
Every bloody time I wash the HD from work, i cut my finger on a rack behind the seat..absolutely no learning curve here, I guess;)
 
Let's see... I broke my finger detailing door jambs, I burned myself detailing an engine, I almost gave myself a concussion detailing the cargo area of a SUV, ran over my foot and oh yeah, gashed my finger.

hahahahahahaha I'm just messing with you all! But it made you feel much better about your cuts, aches and pains, no?? lol

I have gotten some scratches and burned my hand on hot paint while detailing black cars at midday in summer and apart from aches and pains, that's all the pain I've experienced. ;) :cheers:

No Broken nails ;)
 
I have hit the tip of my finger sometimes when cleaning tires, grrr hahah.
