Have you seen this? GM's EN-V Concept 2-Wheel PT

Seems to me this is an alternative to walking. Super. It's just another reason for americans to get fat, so it should be a hit.

I'll BRB I have to go finish my burger and slurpee.
 
My neighbor has one. Her's is made by Toyota....I believe it's called a Yaris. :D

I think this was actually done with GM and the segway people. It was shown at the 2011 Goodwood festival of Speed in the UK. They did a tv special on speed channel which aired recently.The GM rep took the tv host for a ride while he gave a description of the project.. It was also one of the last interviews of the late Dan Weldon.
 
What's its 0-60 and standing 1/4 mile? :laughing:
 
I think it is aimed at replacing personal transportation such as golf karts like you would see used in a retirement community in warmer climates.
 
So when they hit a stone and go nose over will they be trapped?
 
maybe it is versatile, toboggan in the snow or canoe in water.

I bet the owners manual states: "We strongly urge and advise against driving in unfavorable weather conditions-especially windy days. The architectural design and high center of gravity coupled with extremely short wheel base will result in a very scary freakin' ride and will probably necessitate the need of complete strangers to help you upright the vehicle if you do not heed our warnings."
