Hazy IP display

New zr2 is all digital. On the main display speedo etc. in the sun I noticed it was hazy even after cleaning. Odd. I use ultima screen cleaner for this task. And a clean mf of course. Figured I would look into today. Got the plex all out which is safe for screens. Not much better. Still hazy? So tried a damp mf with just water. This seems to yield the best result. ok. I almost thought the factory protective film might have still been on it. Not the case. My app screen is fine. But I do have a screen protector on it. So, a damp mf it is, I guess. Odd issue I never ran into this before.

Try a little rinse less wash, I use onr for screens over a glass cleaner.
And a lint free cloth.

It may not be anything you're doing. I've noticed several rental cars I've had recently and even the one in my own car does "haze" when hit with bright sun even when clean. It makes me wonder if there is something is done to the underside of the screen surface to make it more visible from certain angles/conditions that causes it to look hazy.
