What is the difference between HDSpeed and Mcgee 360. I understand that they are both AIOs, but why would somone choose one over the other.

Also can either one be used by hand, or do both need a machine.

I mean, anything can be used by hand but it would just take forever. There are alot of factors on not just AIOs but all polishes. In my case heat is the biggest factor. Some work better in the high heat then others. 360 probably has better longevity then speed. Speed has a longer working time I'm and is much thicker.

I'm doing a longevity test on those and four others right now

I've used both.......to me, Speed leaves a slicker finish and has a longer working time....but so far, 360 has provided longer protection on the vehicles I've used it on.

I have and like them both. To me, protection longevity is not an issue, because I top with Collinite 845. Both yield good results, when I have used them.
360 smells like cherry, Speed smells like grape. Flip a coin and pick. I think you would be happy with either. Or, just do what I did and get both!

360 is slightly more expensive, not really enough to sway a decision, though.

I agree with above, both easy to use. 360 definitely lasts longer but Speed just has a certain look to it that makes it stand out to me, you can't go wrong with either

•McKee's 37 360's product description
says that it does not require buffing;
i.e.: Polish until it disappears.

•HD 3D Speed, on the otherhand, says
to use a clean dry microfiber towel to
buff the product off by hand.

•IMO:
-This buff/no buff characteristic could
make a difference in some people's
thinking process when choosing between
these two AIOs.

One of the key things I've found when using HD Speed is to let it completely dry before buffing it off. I do the entire vehicle, take a water break and then come back and remove it. I've found this to increase the longevity as the "Poxy" in it has time to dry and cure before removal.

I've been happy with the entire HD line, especially HD Speed, so I've had no real desire to try 360 so I cannot comment on it.

Buff or no buff...what's your preference?

Polish and no buff is what I prefer. The less elbow grease the better.

Never had any success with 360.No matter what pad or machine I use still not a wow product.Speed gives you cut and polish and very nice clarity and pleasing to work with by hand if you need to.
