head liner cleaning

I've tried searching but no results. How to clean a head liner that's the felt type. It's not too bad, I see a couple spots that look as though a soda was opened and it sprayed all over the place. I recall someone saying to use a damp micro fiber and
some kind of cleaner. I can't remember the cleaner, and not to get the head liner very wet. I don't like those head liners that sag down and lay on your head as you drive flapping like a flag in 50 mph winds.:D
 
I use Folex Carpet Pot remover solution on the head liner. Be very carefulabout what you use and light agitation on the headliner. The Folex is a no rinse solution. Some products and agitation methods can break down the adhesive on the headliner and you will get that classic droop of the material that causes so many to replace the headliner. Sweep it first with a vac and use the Folex on spots. Folex is available at Lowes and Walmart in the cleaning section.
 
I have Folex and 303 fabric cleaner. I give Folex a try and see what happens.
 
Just finished using the Folex and it works great. It removed the spots, so I wiped the complete head liner down. The amount of dirt that came out just wiping was amazing. I used 2 oz of Folex and around a 1/2 gallon of cold water, wiped with a micro fiber. Thanks for the tip belcherm58, worked like a charm. Not too fun working on, but it works.
Have any tips on how to get rid of a kink in my neck?
