My parents want me to clean up their headlights on their X5. I looked at them and they are just a little foggy looking. Could someone recommend a good cleaner and protectant for these headlights, something that is user friendly? Thanks in advance.

You can use M105 and m205 if they are a little bit foggy. This will still keep the UV protectant in tact (well what's left at least). This will have you from having to spend upward of 80 dollars on opti lense which is more suited for headlight restoration which involves the sanding if the lense which does remove the UV coating.

I have had success with Diamondite. I recently cleaned up lenses on a Mercedes with the product. Worked well. Their kit runs about $50. I used the polishing pads that come with the kit on my 3" GG ROP polisher and followed the directions. Hope this helps.
