haven't really posted anything before, so i figured i'd post something that made my car look 10x better and only cost $15 :awesome:
anyways, before:
and after:
i'm a broke 16 year old (trying to start a detailing business) so i can't have someone doing work for me and i am pretty happy i figured this out :applause: :righton:
so step one is to start by sanding the lens cover w/ some 400 grit sandpaper to get the oxidation off - 5mins/light
then you wet sand the light w/ 1000 grit sandpaper - 10mins/light
*you could use some 3000 grit sandpaper for better results, but i ony had $15 in my wallet when i got everything
*\
then i kept applying PlastX until they became clear
it's been holding up so far, anyone know what a good sealant is to keep the lights clear?
Feed back please hope everyone with an older car tries this, its just so easy! :righton:
