Headlight Restoration 03' Focus

So I recently have kick started by business. I've always been know throughout my community, job, circle of friends and family as the "detailing guy." I finally kick started everything, got my tax ID, and opened Utopian Detailing. Much better look than having a customer saying "Big Nate did it!"... Here is a headlight restore I did to kick off the new year...
Method:
Wet sand 400, 800, 1500, 2000 with BOB dodojuice dilution
Buffing and Restore with Diamondite kit

Looks great. People are always really appreciative of headlights restores and they can make the car look so much newer and more cared for.

Thanks blackz! It really did set the car off nicely... ive got a full detail lined up for him in about a month... he just had his car re-tuned and its putting 227 HP to the wheels... in a focus... turbo's work wonders now he just needs the exterior to match the mechanics and he will be good to go!

big nate good job you could of save you some work wet sanding, by going on using your diamonite kit the enhancer would have save the sanding then went back to ur restorer but hey great job also u may want to look into dvelup.com for their restoration kit/ or deltakits.com

reggie1967 - I would've just used the kit itself, but on the first headlight I tried just the kit, and it did not have the cutting power to get through that oxidation... it was BAKED on... there was not a huge difference like right now. the wet sanding was to ensure that it would all be taken care of. Thanks for the compliments and links!

i do u can dont know what i was thinking i done the same thing before i used rthe diamonite kit i have used my 3inch sander be fore i apply the kit seems like u done the best job i always tell my customers it the best thinking close to new,unless you want to spend 300/400 in lights and labor
