Anyone have any reviews on
Diamondite Professional Clear Plastic Kit for Headlight Lenses


I purchased it and would like to hear peoples reviews.... that is before I use it myself.

bought the kit myself but wont be able to use it for another week. ill keep you updated
 
I've used it. It works ok, but I get better results with 105 and 205.
 
Meguiar's M105 is a compound capable of removing up to 1200 - 1500 grit or do.

Meguiar's M205 is a polish capable of removing up to 2000 - 2300 grit or so..
 
I used a DA. Did a side by side test with some pretty bad headlights on my friend's car and even though the Diamondite system did an admirable job clearing up the headlight, it was noticeably better with 105/205 combo. I did use the Diamondite clear plastic sealant on both afterwards though. If I could do it over again, I'd just consolidate products and stick with 105/205 as you can use that for paint correction as well.
 
Simple solution - M105 with a yellow or orange LC foam pad on a Flex 3401 works for me everytime :xyxthumbs:
 
I just used this product on a doge avenger and i did not work.
It actually put scratches into the headlight!!
Can anyone tel me why?
I have to detail a car tomorrow and I don't know what to do.
 
I have used the diamondite kit before on my VW and a Buick and it worked great.

I tried to clean the pad, thought maybe it was clogged but didn't find success after.
