I've tweaked my headlight restoration site quite a bit on the Welcome and FAQ pages and I still plan on adding a Testimonials page in the near future. Also will be adding "paypal certified" logo, likely on the pricing page. Does everything else seem well organized? I've gone over the grammar with a fine-toothed comb but peer reviews usually catch mistakes. I wish I could do something on the Pricing page to make it "pop". I feel like it's kinda blah. Any constructive criticism is welcome.

It is well organized, I would however emphasize the name of your company more.

-Add a top header bar above your image at your default page with your companies name on it.

-You have a great idea for your image on the home page, however the picture clarity is poor (no offense). Find a better example, or maybe a before and after that is REALLY good clarity for your image.

-Also, fill in the tab bar to fit with the image, or don't leave that white border around the image and menue bars. It takes away from things a bit.

-Add a subscribe or news feed thread, maybe a facebook like option (don't need one, but happy customers may use it and it brings in more clientel).

-IMHO: Design a logo, or have a custom font for the "OKC" that pops the image more than just the default font that matches the same font as your website layout.

-Add a testimonials section

-The did you know section on the right-hand side of your page is good, but it's clustering with your description on the left-hand text fields. It's hard to make out, add a box or something around it.

Those are just a few of my opinions, I think more than anything... your site is good, but section things up a bit on the home page, and logo would really help. :xyxthumbs:

I think it's a good site. What I agree with is that your company name needs to grab me. It's hidden right now.

Are cloudy, low illumination headlights against the law in your state? If so, could be worth a mention.

Nice site though. I love the before and after pics... Awesome work! Oh and a free polymer spray to keep, nice marketing, I am sold... I want mine done now. haha

Thanks for all the input. I will try to design a logo but in the meantime, try to integrate the my company name (in the original font) onto the header picture.

We have done away with state inspections and I'm not even sure if they checked light output. I know some states still do but figured it would be a moot point to mention other states.

Ok, header picture changed to company name, paypal info added, and photo gallery style also changed. The photo gallery used to be two columns, with before/after pictures paired accordingly. That made about 40-something pictures but they couldn't be enlarged (no thumbnails). This style slide show allowed me to group pictures by vehicle but you are only able to see one picture at a time, needing to click on thumbnails or start a slide show. I think the grouped pictures are neater and keep the webpage shorter. New opinions?

Your Company name is gone when I view it, just the picture... but I did see it yesterday and I liked it. I liked the font style, etc. and the background..

The pics look a lot better large but I am undecided on seeing only one at a time.

Other changes are great.

Thanks for catching that. For some reason the company name shows up on the Homepage and the Contest page. The other 3 have the picture. When I changed the contest page, somehow it changes the Homepage.

It does look much more professional on the home page now, your company identity does look nice.

Tried to see your gallery, was on a slow work computer though. I'll have to check it out when I get home. Keep up the good work!

Its looks pretty Good. It could be spiced up a bit.

here is a quick sample of some thoughts.

using a different color behind the did you know box separates it from the rest of the page making the page seem less chaotic.

dont use serif and sans-serif typeface on the same pages for text.

I like the idea above but, I think the OKC Headlights should be white, maybe an LED headlight white. Represents the headlight brightness to me.

too much white on the page as it is. you need to separate the company name and branding from simple text. the page is very contrasty and difficult to look at. The graphic elements do not guide you though the content.

I simply picked a color to show how much better the header stands out having some color in it. rather then just white. White font could work but it would need to be larger, bolder typeface. and the underlaying text would then need to be shade of gray and smaller.

What about the LED color, like you see them as bluish, or would that still not be bold enough.

Led headlight? you mean Xenon's? or HID?

you could go with a 5000kelvin or so white scale color. i forget the pantone for it.

I dont know that it will stand apart, especially on most monitors. Im on 30" professional monitors. most monitors especially laptops will not display colors as accurately and white vs very light blue may not even be distinguishable.

thank you so much for the pointers. i will definitely be doing some adjustments tonight. just got home and gotta make dinner and get my stuff ready for 4 back-to-back headlight jobs tomorrow.

Yeah I was thinking Xenons but also those LED running lights BMW has now around the edges.

Anyway, just trying to throw in a headlight color but I really like the way it stands out above.

...

Glad you have 4 jobs tomorrow, awesome!

I changed the font. I'm very limited to adding elements to the website unless I go all out with HTML (which I'm not too familiar with). I'm therefore not able to add a horizontal bar to separate the two or shade the background of the Did You Know box. that would definitely help some with the "flow".

I wanted to go with an orange logo (for OK State University) but decided against it. I didn't want to associate myself with any particular school and my business cards are pretty sleek with the B&W and same CF background.
