Headlight restoration

I was wondering what the general estimate is that you give a customer on how long a headlight restoration will last before they cloud up again.

It depends what method you are using--are you just putting wax or sealant on it or are you applying a coating--spar urethane, Opti-Lens, UV-cured, what?

Edit: Also a lot of the longevity has to do with the latitude, whether the car is garaged and if not is it parked where the sun hits it, how much horizontal portion there is to the headlight, etc.

There are too many variable that you have to take into account that you are not mentioning, so it would be hard to provide you with an estimate based on the minimal amount of info you have provided.
 
I agree with the others but if it were me as a client I'd want a minimum 3 months 6 would be better. I've seen some doing the Minwax Spar treatment go out a year. I think that's pushing the envelope for aftermarket reconditioning.
