I used the 3M headlight restore kit and have light swirls that show when the the lights are on. Is there any way to get rid them?
Thanks

Just about any polishing compound will remove the swirls.

3m kit is a great kit... sometimes I used to get some light swirling afterwards so I would use some power finish and an orange 4" pad..

I did the same thing and i realized that there wasn't anyway to get rid of all the swirls without doing 1500/2000 wet sand then polish.

Thanks for the replies
I might try some 1500 /2000 sanding
The 3M kit works well but it removes any UV protection. What do you suggets after I get the swirls out?

Here are some good threads about using the Spar Urethane Method and Opti-Coat for headlight sealant, I think its really a matter of choice currently I use the Spar Urethane Method
