So I've been doing a bunch of research on these threads about various coatings and polymer-based sealants. I ultimately would like to try Opti-Coat 2.0, but is too pricey for me at the moment (maybe in the near future). And I was going to try the Zaino Z2-Pro system with Zaino Z-8. But got really interested in the WOWA products. So after all the research and comparisons around UPGP, Opti-Seal, Zaino CS, WG Liquid Seal, I've decided to try my hand at BF Crystal Clear...
...but had several questions and am hoping any BFCS users could help out as I'll be doing this on my daily drivers as well as on some family members' cars (I'm not a professional doing this as a business but more of an enthusiast that could make a little $$ on the side
). So after I do my paint correct (Clay/M101/M205 with a PC, and yes I know there are other options for polish but...):
1. Is there any benefit to looks and durability by sealing first with BF Wet Diamond then topping it with BF Crystal Seal?
2. If so, should I do multiple coats of each?
3. Is BF Wet Diamond Polymer Spray a good QD? Any other recommedations for use with BF Crystal Clear
4. Has anyone topped the BF Crystal Clear with a carnuaba wax (I'm thinking of doing this with P21S 100% to primarily for warmth and depth)? What are your thoughts?
Once I complete the detai on my car, I plan on fully utilizing my car cover - even at work! Thanks in advance for any feedback. I'll be sure to post before/after pics as well as feedback on looks and durability (both short-term and long-term)
Car in line for detail:
