Let me know what you think about this thing.

A legit extractor is not a practical option for me, but for side work of relatively well kept cars, usually high-end, would this thing be the ticket?

I'd be doing a pre-treat, chemical selection of course dependent on the condition of the carpet, and then use this thing to clean it up.

thanks!

That's what i use when i need to extract my carpets, no problem at all. It's an amazing little machine.:D

Very nice machine for a weekend-warrior-detailer :) I use it in the car and house. Little Green®ProHeat

Its a little awkward to use in the car since the hose is not really long but can easily be placed on opposite side.

Usually what i do i spray the carpet with a shampoo (your choice of shampoo here) let it sit for a while than use a Natural Tampico Upholstery & Carpet Scrub Brush.
After im satisfied with results i use the small attachment that came with LGM to extract the water.

Just make sure you get the one with ProHeat cause i think theres another model without the heater.

keep researching. I wanted one of these really bad and then started seeing quite a few people who had bought it and thought it wasn't really worth it. I still kinda want one though...LOL. good for the house and the cars.

How much does that thing run? I need one for my house also. Just for my own car, and the friends/family cars I detail.

Not really worth it if you ask me. While I haven't used them yet, the Wolfgang carpet and spot remover products look very interesting.

About $100 in Target, and if you dont like it you have 90 days to return it.. i think :P

I have one and have one warning. When I got mine my mother demaned I shampoo the carpet on the stairs. Otherwise for the money it is a decent price for what you get.

I've got one and use it around the house quiet a bit. Works really good! I have yet to use it on the car, but I plan on just bringing in my mats and trying it out on those.

It has been a good purchase for me. The picture is one swipe on a four year old driver's side mat. It had never been cleaned only vacuumed.

I checked online. It is $99 at target, but bissel makes another version for $125 that says hands free, at bed bath and beyond, but is blue not green. Has anybody tried that one. I looked there because I got the 20% off and $10 off coupons. They let you use both.

I've heard only good things and for 99 bucks. really not a bad deal...:D

For those who only detail on the side it's perfect.

I pre-treat stains with an APC and also use an extractor solution in the unit. Works great for pet stains around the home too.

I bought a factory reconditioned one.I have had it for almost a year and for the low cost I fill you can't beat it.its small and does have a short hose, but I do want to buy a good heavy duty one later down the road.
