I don't like the bitter cold of winter. I can stand the heat better, but don't care for the humidity.
If I remember, it was 124 the day I left Ben Hua on the big silver freedom bird. Arrived in Chi-town, where it was a balmy 75. My brother picked me up in shorts and a tank top, and asked if I wanted the air on or ride with the windows down. I said "Turn on the Friggin' heater!" He thought I had went crazy while in 'Nam. lol
Also worked in a tire factory, no air conditioning, windows or fans, but they did furnish sweat bands. (Sweat on the tire could make it blow when it cured). Felt like you could cut the air and chew it some days. And you had to make an established rate.
