One of my clients got a smoking deal on a Jeep compass that he plans on giving to his daughter for college. After he made a few mechanical repairs he called me to tackle the very neglected and disgusting interior.

Chemicals:

Ultima Interior shampoo
Folex
Meguiars APC
Meguiars Hyper dressing
Griots glass cleaner

Tools:

MCculloch 1275 steamer
Bissell Pro heat extractor
Porter cable with Cyclo brush(aqua)
wet/dry shop vac
Tons of microfibers and teryy towels

Exterior:

Duragloss Shampoo
Meguiars APC
Foam cannon
Nanoskin mit
Meguiars hyper dressing on tires
LSP Carpro reload

Before and After Pictures:

Thanks for looking!

Dude, quality work. Your client and his daughter will be stoked with the revamped edition of that Jeep. Wish I hade one of those in college. A Jeep I mean!?! Nothin, like making a neglected vehicle look new again. Good job,

Peace,

Darrin

Those seats always wick you have to dry them with micro then blast the heat with doors closed windows up

Very nice, how much would you say the extractor helped in addition to using the steamer and APC?

I think she will be very happy! Her father said she would not even sit in it because it was so bad cant blame her!

Not always. that's where the steamer really shines no need to saturate the seats with product or water to get them clean. I do have a shop fan that I use to help dry the interior out. I had the vehicle for several days no wicking what so ever :xyxthumbs:

I used the extractor on the carpets. After machine brushing, vacuum, there was still so much junk on the carpet. This is why I extracted rather than steam I felt I would not be able to pick up enough of the gunk with steam and a terry towel.
For vehicles with average dirty interiors the steamer is my go to.

Thanks, how long did the cleaning/extraction of the carpets take?

1hr-1.5? Im not for sure to be honest. Most of the time was in prep. Machine brush, vacuum, and product dwell time then agitate with a brush by hand. After all this then I extract. The entire interior detail took about 5 1/2 hours.

Thanks! Definitely made sure I was wearing proper PPE for this job gloves, dust mask, safety glasses, etc.

Wow, 5.5 hrs for the interior...I'm not surprised. You did a fantastic job on that!! Great job on the stain removal too. I hate doing interiors!

Yeah interiors are not my favorite. Everything was a mess. I didn't post any pics of back hatch area or door jams...filthy! You could barely see through the windshield i don't think it has ever been cleaned.

That was terrible, but with a GREAT turn around!

I drive a Jeep JK, that sees a good bit of offroad use, and minus a good amount of dust and dirt, it has NEVER been that bad inside!!
