Hi,

I put new rotors on 2 years ago and really have not driven a car at all, car will only get up to speeds of maybe 10 mph. I've heard it was due to brakes, and all are new, so now I think it's the heavy rust on the breaking area of the rotors.

Must I resurface or will the naval gel work?

Thanks!

Are you saying that you put new rotors on, then let the car sit for two years, and now it will only get up to 10 mph due to some sort of driveline drag?

Sounds like a stuck parking brake.

I agree. Jack car up and spin the suspected wheel(s). They rotate freely then it's another issue.

Welcome, you've came to the right place.

If your rotors sat for 2 years with rust on them they are probably toast. But, nobody here can tell you exactly what is wrong with your car in this situation without jacking it up and seeing what the issue is.

Right now I gotta go change out the summer air in my tires for winter air... It's getting cold out around here and I don't want a blow out.

Sounds like a clogged exhaust. Maybe a mouse nest.
