Hellcat Charger gets Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating

Had a client contact me about his pearl white 4k mile Hellcat Charger. He was looking for some correction work and a coating. At first when I arrived at his house the car appeared to be well kept. Overall it was but what I found after my wash and decontamination process was sickening.

Process.

Wheels cleaned with iron-x, tires- tuffshine tire cleaner
Wheels sealed with Hydro2
Tires dressed with Meguiars Hyper dressing 50/50
Washed with Wolfgang auto bathe
Iron-x the paint and nanoskin mitt
Paint corrected with BOSS G21, fast correcting cream, fast correcting pad
Finishing polish with Carpro Essence, G21 and BOSS perfecting pad.
Paint and glass coated with Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating.

So after my initial wash and decontamination I had found some overspray on the window of the front passenger door. Well once I shined my light in the door it became pretty evident that the door and fender had been resprayed. It was very cloudy from there subpar finishing work. Fortunately I was able to fix it and get it back better than new.


Upon arrival.

Cleaned up and sealed with Hydro2. Nice beading.

50/50 of the repainted door.









All corrected and coated.

How is this product. Alot of people are in the ceramic coating/paint coating game. Its definately a big market with some steep competition now.

I have used 4 different coatings and this one so far has been very good. Very easy to apply. Almost too easy. It's very forgiving. Can be used on glass and wheels too. I have used it on about 5-6 cars so far and they all have looked and are performing great

Nice job...I think The Charger Hellcat is more impressive than the Challenger. 4 door rocket. I imagine these will be a little more collectible than the Challenger.

Thanks. I agree with you. The owner of this one went to several dealers out of state before purchasing this one from Texas. Then having it shipped here to Florida. The problem was most dealers wanted 10-20k above sticker!

That is nice. I wish I could say ours is versatile like that lol but we have specialized coatings for each part of the vehicle. They are easy to apply though.

Thank you Mike! It was tough to capture but the metallic looks awesome in the sunlight.

He had some suspicions that it had been painted. He had noticed some over spray in some spots. Once I showed him under the light he wasn't too happy. But once I fixed it he was more than happy.

Is it easy to see where you have applied it, and the high spots, on a white vehicle? I would think it is easier on a dark color. I am looking at getting this for my new white C7 Vette. Thanks

It's a bit tougher than a darker color color car to see while you are applying but with good lighting and taking your time it goes on super easy! I have used this coating multiple times now with great success and pleasure.

Thank you sir. It truly is versatile. I honestly have not used it on wheels yet but with the way it works on paint and glass I see no difficulty using it on wheels.
