First thanks for all the help with the dumb a** move I made spraying and allowing apc to dry in the sun on a windshield trying to remove bugs prior to a rinseless wash (now I will be polishing tonight )

So now my ? is what method do you guys use to remove bugs from windshield before a rw, keep in mind "no pressure washer or hose", one buddy said put apc on towel and I will try. I do use that yellow bug scrubber.

Please help

I've had great luck with Stoners Invisable glass (aerosol version). The key is allowing ample dwell time for Stoners to break down the bugs so you can quickly wipe the guts away.

Dip a couple microfibers in you bucket them lay them out flat on the windshield or hood. Let it sit a couple of mins. Rinseless wash as usual. It should help soften the bugs.

Option 2. Mix up your rinseless as a detailer in a spray bottle. Spray the bugs directly.

Option 3, dedicated bucket, micros and bug/tar remover

Option 4, when really bad, bug remover and the local car wash spray bay followed by no rinse at home to perfect it. Apparently CG crew washes cars with buckets at the car wash. Most here don't allow it.

Duragloss Bug Remover works amazingly well for me. Can even be used without a rinse.

Thanks to all, I had to polish the windshield using 105 it is sparkling now, as long as we learn from our mistakes

Sorry to bother, but what APC and at what dilution ratio were you using, for those of us who would like to avoid a similar occurrence?

Edit: I gues it doesn't really matter. Don't let APC dry on glass, or anything else.

It was megs apc low dilution the sun is what hurt me

We have love bugs down here in Fla, the get baked on, I use a razor blade scraper then follow up with Stoners.
