I love West By God Virginia! One of my favorite states, especially the Lewisburg/White Sulfur Springs area.

One of the most beautiful spots and certainly worth the trip is the Canaan Valley/Dolly Sods Wilderness area. Canaan is a great ski resort in the winter but is absolutely beautiful in the summer. The ski lifts stay open in the summer and you can hike down the trails. The Dolly Sods Wilderness area is about 20 minutes from Canaan and provides breathtaking views and vegetation and plant life normally found in Canada. There are some locals that provide horseback rides through the area. Great trip!
