Hi everyone, just got a new '09 Civic and I'm excited to get into detailing, as this is my first car! I found out about AGO from 8thcivic.com when I was reading some threads about detailing. I'm probably going to start off small (wash & wax) and work my way up from there... :)

welcome to AG!!! Honda paint is SOFT, with that said it's easy to polish out swirls BUT also easy to induce new defects (scratches and swirls). Study proper washing methods first and foremost-2 bucket method etc etc ...nice ride BTW

Thanks for the tips -- will definitely study the washing methods. I know scratches are inevitable but I like to take good care of my stuff. :)
 
Nice color you got there, Dublifecrisis is right Honda paint is extremely soft, i would even recommend a clear bra on your car ASAP. I own an Accord as my DD and got tons of rock chips in it :(
