My name is Will, I thought I should get my post count up a little finally. Ive been in the car industry for some time now, detailing, installing window and protective films, doing various types of paint coatings and reconditioning.
Im currently providing services at a luxury Consignment and High end detailing dealership Called the #GTAutolounge next to Folsom,Ca. Im a one man band, more than 50 percent of the cars i correct are black for some reason. haha. Im always trying new things and researching things online to gain knowledge and ways to adapt my skills. Recently just made a big purchase of the new flex cordless beast, their cordless rotary, which my dewalts not gonna like and there pixie polisher as well. call it an early Xmas gift. So needless to say i cant wait for the release of them. im glad to be here and have always been kinda lurking,

Welcome to the forum Will!

That seems like an awesome job you have on some amazing cars! Those can be difficult to work with all of the nooks and crannies and special materials on the supercars. So detailer doing detailing work suits very much in your case.

If it's possible that you could takeing pictures of a job you do sometime and shareing it in the Show N Shine thread. Would have been awesome to see. We love some great revives with before and after pictures here as you might know LOL. And see it done on some special cars would be amazing to see.

What is the most finicky material on a supercar to do work on? Like carbon fiber or ceramic brakes or something else. Or and which of the cars is most time consuming to work on? Sorry for all of the questions but it's interesting to hear someone working on these supercars and the experience with the work on them.

That's going to be an awesome setup of polishers when you get your new Flex cordless polishers!

Right on Tony, ill get something going in the Show n Shine thread sometime. we have a professional photographer on board, so im sure i can get him to help out and its not uncoomon to get something interesting that needs some major help.
For me the exotic/super cars can be time consuming just because of the smaller panel pieces and having to use smaller tools. Usually their paints buff out pretty well, i do enjoy looking for pigtails on them because there almost always some somewhere. Anything ridiculously soft after buffing, ill finish with a da and some menzerna supershowcarfinish that stuff never fails.
Hopefully the new flex polishers get released sooner than later.
