Evening all.

My name is Steve and I am currently the owner of Mirror Finish Auto Detailing in England.

I have been a lurker here for a fair few years and enjoy all the banter you guys have and enjoy reading Mike's posts.

I am always on Detailing World, in fact my company is a sponsor on there.

We specialise on high end corrections as well as offering a valeting (detailing is called valeting in the UK) service. We also offer tinting and car protection wraps. I also run monthly training courses and do dealer training for a few BMW, Mercedes dealers.

Being a dual citizen both UK and US. We have decided to move back to the US later this year. All my family are in Texas so this seems the place to move to.

I will be looking at detailing again in the Dallas area, initially from home and offering a mobile service. then if all goes well look at opening a shop in the Dallas area.

So thats me, I am looking forward to being part of the family on here.

Cheers
Steve

Steve,

Glad to have you on the forum. I look forward to you contributing with your knowledge! I am sure you have quite a bit you can share. Hope to see you around!

Welcome Steve! We can learn a lot from you! I suspect you have considerable expertise with coatings since they have been on your side of the pond a while now. Texas weather will be a major adjustment!

Cheers, an average summer day in the UK is 80f, with some humidity. Dreading the 110f temps with full on humidity.

Hello Steve! I was in Manchester earlier this year!

Welcome to the forums and will be great to have more detailers representing Texas :)

Cheers guys, looking forward to setting up in Dallas.

Just need to come up with a pricing plan, as I don't think I can just take a £ price and double it. But working in $ prices with no £ conversion seems too low. Ho hum decisions, as I want to hit the streets as soon as we arrive.
