Hello from Alaska!

My name is Aaron, from Alaska. I am 17 and i have a red 2005 dodge ram quad cab with some chrome accessories like rims, running boards, a bumper guard, etc. I did not know ANYTHING about detailing two months ago until I mentioned how my rims are getting tarnished and look bad, and a friend mentioned a Mother's Powerball and polish. Two months of exploring the vast network of car enthusiasts known as Auto Geek later, I find myself hooked. Anyways I would just like to thank you for all putting forward so much useful information for a newbie, and introducing me to detailing. You will probably be getting some questions on your personal opinions about different products, methods etc. However I will TRY to use the search feature first:)

Its not as bas as you think up here.the snow from yesterday is gone& it looks like its going to be a nice day.

And yeah the search button works wonders, it keeps the forum less flooded with questions that have already been asked and answered.
 
I'm here in Alaska as well. Stationed here at Ft. Rich. I hate this place haha.

Yes I have actually, the majority of my time spent looking at detailing items is spent looking at, and researching the items in the kits. There is still a TON that I do not yet know about detailing. Like I do not know how to classify scratches and swirls based on the severity of damage yet. But thanks for the warm welcome, it sure makes me want to spend all of my time on the forum instead of school! Hehe
