New B. Here's my story:

A few years ago I purchased a 2001 VW Golf (Reflex Silver) which had oxidation on the hood and bike pedal marks on the sides of the car. I saw potential and began to research paint restoration/protection. I ended up with a few Menzerna products and several sealants/waxes. Back then I was polishing by hand, but was able to bring the Golf to a near perfect state. When I sold that car my neighbor asked, "Why did you sell your new car?" The truth is it was six years old. I have been hooked and totally neurotic ever since.

I am here to browse and learn more from the experts. My therapy continues......

hmmm, you sound a lot like me when I joined. I bought a 2000 Candy White golf, it was gross but then I made it look new and sold it.

Now I have a Black GTI and I spend all my extra money here at AG trying to make it shiny.

Now I have a white Jetta. People think I'm nuts because it's so clean. Love it!
