Hello all, looks like a great forum. For years I've been washing my cars with a rag and dish soap, or not washing at all. A few weeks ago I was looking at my 1998 Toyota Camry and thinking "this looks like crap." So I googled "how to wash a car". One thing led to another, and here I am. My immediate goal is to figure out how to get all the ugly scratches out of my paint as best possible.

First Welcome to AG forums.

You are at the correct place for answers to your questions. My first question is what is your budget?

There is a great VIP offering this week for a PC, Porter Cable, random oribital buffer.

Thanks. I was looking at that package and it says it is good for maintaining vehicles that are in good overall condition. My paint has more severe scratches and chips, so I'm not sure it will fit for what I need. Also, I've read on Amazon that the 7424 is good for waxing, but some have said that if you need more than the most trivial level of polishing, the 7424 doesn't do a good job. How accurate are those statements? TIA.
