Hi everybody,
I've always been a car nut/gearhead and always thought I took good care of my vehicles. A friend of mine owns a body shop and happen to mention "Microfiber". Hmmm. Then I noticed an add for a buffing/car care kit from Griot's. Hmmm. Well one thing led to another while searching the net. Ended up here and on other detailing sites. Having recently washed, clayed, and waxed my 02 330i (Orient blue, great color) with Meg's NXT and thinking it looked really good, now all I see are swirls and scratches ! Argh ! Now I'm hooked. Bought a PC 7424 kit with LC pads, a bunch of different MF cloths (now I know what truly clean windows look like). Now I can't wait for spring to really do it up right ! After 40 years of hand polishing/waxing Ive found machine polishing religion !
So hello from the "Not so frozen lately North" !

Bruce

Hello and welcome. Nice up here now. Its New England it will change.

Hey Bruce! Welcome to AG from a fellow New Englander. How did you like the 60*F day we had yesterday? Do you live in Boston or outside of the city?

:welcome: Bruce. Remember the Patriots "snow bowl"? Shhhhh on the temp.

Hi all,
Thank you for the welcome.
Mikey, loved yesterday ! I work in Boston, live on "south shore". Great book !! Good stuff !
Jimmie, snow bowl was a classic. My stepsons have signed prints of Adam V. field goal.
BTW, anybody using the CWB to squeegee car dry ? (I think some of the scratches in my car are from using it to dry car after a rain. I think its safe to use on a car thats been properly washed)

GOOO PAAAATTTS!!! :D :D :D

now that the offical New Englander greeting has been done,

welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay :) There are lots of good folks here who will be happy to answer any questions you have. :buffing:
