Hello. My name is Sara. Everyone seems to think I have a problem. I like to clean vehicles. They think I'm crazy. I think I'm awesome. :-D

Seriously, Ive really enjoyed cleaning vehicles for as long as I can remember. My dad just passed away this July and my only solace was in cleaning my truck. Thus started a new obsession. Im new, but I have hours and hours of reading and videos under my belt, (still lost on the abbreviations lol) and I started receiving my orders about 2 mos ago. (SO EXCITING!!!) I have the PC, Menzerna PG1000, IP2000, and SF4000, the Klasse Twins, Collinite #845 and 850. I have some absolutely delicious MF's lol. I have several LC CCS pads, and I just ordered some purple foamed wool ones, which I read wont really do much good with a PC?. So it looks like I need to save up for a flex lol. I have CG qd, chose it for the price and supposed 'anti stactic' properties. Works great on bird poop! Am I missing anything? Are my products a good choice, do you think? And one question I keep coming back to is.. how the hell am I supposed to know what kind of paint system is on each different vehicle?! lol. (more specifically, my '07 Lincoln Mark LT pickup truck) Ive seen some CHEAP paint gauges on eBay.....

Anyway.. that's me. I am REALLY happy to be here! If you've read this far.. Haha, thanks! :)
 
As an afterthought, What do you guys usually do when you run into this.. replacement?
 
Enjoyed your energy and gusteowhen reading your intro.
I can relate to it being your outlet and enjoyment. Come from the same long held interest.
Now I have a bit of skill to what I do, so I don't to too many jabs from my mates these days, they are more likely to ask for some tips.

Good to see your branching out too a variety of products. Me too.
Only hic-up is that freighting stuff all the way to New Zealand is costly, so I have to research well (forum been good for that)a save up.

The PC and wool do not work well together. If you need added cut with the PC, micro fiber pads work really well. However the 3401 has the ability to spin wool...

Thank you Mike!! I will get some mf pads to hold me over! I am starting the hood on my intrepid this moment actually, and I know I'll have to go over it with mf. Ps. I also read on here today about bird poop... And how not To use qd to clean it. So.. I've been doing it wrong.

Hi Sara... You have swirls and scratches.... Lots thoughts here from the group... IMO... Flex 3401..5"hybreds.. Wolfgang products to start with, swirl removal, finish, maybe mezs 4500 to finish... Pinnacle souveren wax....I will add if needed....
