Just wanted to drop a quick hello to all, I am a member of RamForumZ and was looking for supplies to detail my 2012 black Ram 1500. I was referred to your group and found what I was looking for. Look forward to getting involved and getting tips as this is my first black vehicle and I want to make sure I get "it" right.:xyxthumbs:

Welcome to the forum from New England. :xyxthumbs:

Welcome from Michigan.

You will find a lot of good advice and friendly people here. Having a black car I know what your up against. Good luck!!

Welcome from SoCal. +1 on lots of good advice and info to be found on AG.

Welcome from PA :)
I've only got one black car under my belt so no black car tips from me :(
But I'm a HUGE fan of any Dodge Ram so great choice in your purchase!

Thanks all, ordered my stuff the other night, should be here this Friday.

Here is my approach on this truck:
Wash n Dry
Clay bar
Wash n Dry
IPA
Wolfgang Polish Enhancer
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
Give the sealer time to cure, then a good coat of Collinite 845

Winter are pretty harsh so I want to coar her good before it starts...

Any pointers you all have will be greatly appreciated! Did a little homework and this was what I decided upon...

Welcome to the forum, you're from my neck of the woods, born and raised in Wyoming, grew up in Gillette. Frontier Days is a kick in the pants!

Thanks for the welcome! We actually try to get out of town when Frontier Days kicks up...this town goes absolutely nuts...

Sounds like a great approach for those cold Wyoming winters.

And please don't run over any Jackalopes. They do make a mess of the undercarriage. Not to many of them left out there.

The horns are hard on the grill work too!!! :D

:welcome:from VA. I'm in the same process, except using the Wolfgang Twins ahead of the Deep Gloss Paint Sealant.
