I'm a long time lurker on this board who just finally got around to making an account. I'm a hobbyist detailer, and I take a lot of pride in maintaining my cars well. I decided to finally join up after getting a new DA polisher and stepping up from Meg's to more professional products and techniques. My wife thought I was crazy for keeping our vehicles up like this until one got totalled last November. The adjuster noted clean and well kept up the vehicle was and that translated directly into a higher valuation (and more money in my pocket!).
I'm looking forward to winter clearing up so I can finally do some badly-needed paint correction on my new (to me) whip. I'm hoping to keep honing my skills and eventually turn this into a side hustle because I love cleaning, and I love cars!
