New forum member just checking in. Found the forum after buying my wife a used RX350 in Brandywine Mica that needs some work on the paint (minor scratches and swirls). I was actually looking for a detailer when I ran across the autogeek forums and after a little reading I thought, I can do that.
Ordered the Porter Cable DA, XMT Intermediate swirl remover kit, XMT speed clay, Liquid Soveran, and misc brushes, micro fiber towels, etc. I can tell this is going to be an expensive obsession but there's so much satisfaction in a job done right.
Plan on jumping in up to my neck on a couple of my days off at the end of next week. I have some question but will post in the appropriate forums.
