I'm in the final stages of restoration on an '86 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z with T-tops, C/S package, leather seats, power seats and windows etc. I have two Daytona. The first however is a standard model which I got in '85 when it was new. It now has nearly 300,000 miles on it. It's not 'remarkable' other than it's rare. Not many of these have survived.
The '86 Turbo Z on the other hand is a different story. It is not only rare but is gradually becoming collectible. I'm now working on the paint which is why I'm here. I've painted before but the Turbo Z is Black and Gold. Gold detailing and black main color. Since I've done all the work myself there are still some minor imperfections which I want to deal with. So, I'll post some questions in the (I hope they will be the) proper forums.
Pictures have been posted in a gallery on another site so if any is interested in looking at the process/progress just let me know and I'll be sure to send you the link.
