Hi All,
Just want to say hi and a little intriduction.

Always have a love affair with cars, especially the nice and shinny one, you know the one that makes you go "Wow..."

I don't have a clue as to where to start with car care in general; sure I washed my car but I most likey do more harm then good when it come to cleaning it. I want to have my car professionally detailed but the cost is something I can't affort.

Came across this site, read and saw some amazing stuff, figured if I can do this (little at a time) my car can be "wow...' when someone sees it. I don't know how many would be "wow" by a mini-van though, hahaha...

Hope to lear a lot from everyone here.

I live in Citrus County, Florida, about 3 hours north of you around Tampa and have been thinking of moving to Cape Coral, is it a good area? From what Ive read and seen it seems like a place Id enjoy. Do you recommend it?

I was going to ask you the same thing...
You know we're in the wet season, right? There's only two seasons down here, wet and dry. Anybody tells you otherwise, does not live here...:)

I think twice before I do that, now there are lots of people who like it there; me, personally no so much.

If you live and work there, then that's fine, but if you live there and work on the "main land" its tough. Traffic is not so good in the dry season with all the snowbirds in town. You might already experienced first hand from where you are. Getting around the city is sometime a nightmare, you really have to know where you're going. There are canals everywhere, say the house you're looking is on the other side of the canal, you might have to double back just to cross the canal. I lived there for about six months and it did not fit me very well. Like I said there are lot of people like it there, I'm just not one of them. Later I've learned that Cape and Lehigh are not where you want to be. So here I am, southern most of Fort Myers as I can get. Hahaha, any further south I'll be in Naples... Wait, maybe Burito Springs (Bonita Springs) then North Naples and then Old Naples (this is where all $$$).

I know I'm going to hell for this, but just in case I'll hold a spot for you. You just have to bring the beers.

Sure glad to know I'm not the only one from Florida... Transplanted here since 04 and loving every moment of it!
