Hello all, I am WH from KY.

I am restoring my Dad's last truck, a 1980 Jeep J10 pickup truck, with a Sport Side, (Step side) bed.

I have replaced every seal and bearing, taken all metal parts to bare metal, and sealed and primed. I am painting now. I have so far, done everything myself, except for the engine machining, and the upholstery.

I am cutting and buffing the parts as I am painting them, and thus is how I found this site. I purchased my Flex and accessories from Auto Geek, and want to learn more about the cutting and buffing, and then proper care care.

I appreciate any help you all can give.

I have a link to my progress so far, I will try to include it in the signature, but for now, here it is.

Welcome to Autogeek Online!

Very cool project you have going!!

Thanks Mike,
I would like to see more of yours...

Dad07,
The frame rusted completely in two in winter of 09. I found a donor February 2nd, 2010 and started that day.

August 2nd, it will be 2 and a half years, Painting has been a chore, and still is...

If I get it worked out and painted, I have everything ready to fit in place, the dash is painted and ready, the wiring has been re done, etc.

I just need to figure out painting and cut and buff...

Thanks!
