Hi guys, newest member from michigan (i think)
I wanted to stop in and say hello everyone here and give a little background about myself
I live in Michigan, where we can have all 4 seasons in a week :help:
Im what you would call a hobbyist detailer. I dont really do it for money, although i keep having an idea of starting a small business. I mostly do it for fun. I was my personal vehicles alot, and the occasional family member or friend.
I have a truck (can see pics in my album) that i bought when i was 15. I drove it all thru high school, washing it atleast 2 times a week. I always had a spotless vehicle.
Anyway, I graduated HS in 2006, and in the fall of 2007 I had my truck restored. It wasnt in bad shape, but it had scratches, dents, clear coat was fading (not from me, thats how i bought it)
When i got my truck back, with shiny new black paint....thats when my passion for clean vehicles turned more into a obsession.
At this point i gave up on autozone car soap and wax, and moved to chemical guys. I watched hour and hours of videos, and how- to's to keep my truck clean
Well here I am years later, still love to detail cars, still love chemical guys, but im at the point where i want to learn more than just the basics. So here i am!!
As you guys see my post, you will notice im not afraid to ask stupid questions, im not afraid to embarras myself. If i dont know how to do something, Ill ask. Thats just who i am.
Anyway, little more about me personally

married
i have 2 labrador retrievers. 1 is a chocolate female named Remmy, and the other is a yellow male named Ruger. Yes they are named after guns, which is another hobby of mine
I am also a Mopar guy. My truck is a 98 Dodge Ram 1500, My car is a 1969 Dodge Charger. My daily driver is a 2012 jeep jk sport in orange crush!
(when i had my truck restored in 2007, i bought a green 91 jeep cherokee. That started a small obsession with jeep. Since 2007 i have bought, cleaned, drove and sold more than 10 jeeps. Everything from xjs, cjs, tjs......Yes the rumor is true, jeeps are contagious)
Anyway, Im glad im here on AG, i hope to learn alot and ask alot of questions!
