Hello Welcome to AGO. I was a kid when I lived in Columbus, GA. My father was stationed in Ft. Bennings. The movie The Green Berets w/John Wayne was filmed there! My father was one of the soldiers in the movie. There were so many soldiers that of course he could only say he was in the movie!

But Georgia is one of the "Best" Smelling States.....love that Georgia "Pine" Smell!
