Hi Edward,

Welcome to AutogeekOnline!

Can I ask you how you found us? Here's your car, I uploaded it to your FREE gallery here and this is how a picture looks when it's "inserted".

Love the old Packards, we had a 1949 Packard on our TV show and also to our garage for a show car makeover.

The Packared we worked on has a modern basecoat/clearcoat finish, but it was all swirled out when it arrived and when it left it was show ready...

:welcome: to AGO!!

Gotta love the old Packards.
There's a Packard Museum about a 1/2 hour drive from the house that we've visited a couple of times.
I'll see if I can find some photos to PM you.

:)

Welcome to AGO!

Definitely check out the PakShak down off the Sand Island Access Road for your local detailing needs. It's a hole-in-the-wall, but with quality inventory, helpful staff, and great microfiber towels. Look for "Rsurfer" here on AGO as he's from the PakShak.

AGO's shipping to HI is usually about $25, the best around. Keep a sharp eye on the fine print for their sales - for Memorial Day HI & AK got a flat shipping rate of $20 since we are always excluded from the free shipping deals. Picked up a couple gallons on that one!

Thanks Mike, I think I may have found this site because of your articles. I just went through a 4 day process of M07, there wasn't much oxidization.

My Packard is a great driver, you can start from a near dead stop in 2nd, and it is a 3-speed. Reliable as long as you have gas.

I have heard of Pakshak, been planning to go, just never works out with other plans.
