Greetings to everyone on this forum. I reside in Calcutta India. Joined the forum to learn more about auto detailing and what products are making waves. Unfortunately detailing products are not widely available in India though there is a good market for such products. I get my supplies mostly from US when I travel or when my collegues travel. I have been a Autogeek customer for a awhile now. In India dust is a big problem year round and the rains in the monsoon (around the corner right now) so keeping a lasting the shine / protection on the car is a challenge. So hope to learn a few tricks in the forum. BTW, I currently have a Mercedes E250 CDI Blue Efficiency and a Suzuki Swift VXI hatchback for running errands (but I love the car)

Dust and rain... that does make keeping a car looking top notch all the time a real challenge...

Welcome to AGO!

Nice to see someone from Indian on the forums.

Thanks for the welcome.

Merc
Yes. But Palladium Silver. The picture is of the petrol version. The CDI has four slats on the front grill.

Suzuki
The same Mike. But Metallic Gray. A bit under powered but great for dashing around in crowded places. They are made by Maruti Suzuki - the largest Indian Automaker. Very reliable and modified for Indian roads.

Regards

Sid

Welcome to the forum mate :)
Damn.. waxes must really suffer in India considering the heat you guys deal with.

Having thinking from long time to join this highly educational and informative Autogeek, today I did it.
With so many brands and products for detailing, it was and it is difficult to arrive at any given product.
I had been (rather overdoing) the use of sealant and wax: Practically once a fortnight!
Though it gives me intense satisfaction, I have no idea if it is harmful!
Apart from the detailing activities, have done major and minor modifications for performance and for my driving comforts.
This is my first post.
Hope it is relevant to the forum

Keeping the mirrors on the car is more challenging than the dealing with rain & dust in India :)
