Hi everyone.. Greetings from Bandung, Indonesia.
I've been following the forum for quite a while and decided to finally sign up. To be honest, i'm a new enthusiast in car detailing. I drive a grey metallic Nissan Livina (which i reckon probably most of you unfamiliar with, lol).
As a starter, I use these stuff:
1. Megs gold class car shampoo
2. Mother's clay bar
3. Turtle wax platinum paste wax
4. Mother's advanced top coat
So far, i've been pleased with the result of my car using no 1,2 and 4 (I'll upload the photo of my car real soon). No 3 gives a good result, nice, slick, and reflective finish (it makes the metallic pop out). My only concern is the durability. Normally, it only stands for 1 week or 2 weeks maximum. The durability really a let down... I dunno whether it's the weather (it's really hot here, high humidity) or it's just the product..
I'm planning on using some more 'serious' stuff like souveran and optimum. Souveran liquid spray wax and optimum car wax seem good (i want to use something simple). I hope i can share my experience and learn more in this forum.
