Hey everyone.

My names Jason and I am from northern New Jersey. I have been studying up on car detailing for quite a few months now and I figured I mine as well join the forums to get the ball rolling! I have detailed relatives and friends cars before but never actually thought of it as a way to make money until the beginning of this year. I am a college student with a part time job so I plan on doing some detailing on the side.

Along with car detailing, I started my own screen printing business 4 years ago while I was in high school. That has been really good to me and I love starting new ventures and just being an entrepreneur!

I look forward to meeting you guys and learning a lot! :)
 
Welcome to AG!!! This is a great site and you will find lots of great people and help here!

It seems you are close enough, there is gonna be an event next month, I think that it might be good if you are wanting to get some experience, and maybe try some products you haven't try yet, and possibly pick up a trick or two... Check out this thread Poorboy's World Detail Weekend 2011. Hope you can make it, this is gonna be my first time there, and seems like it will be lots of fun!
 
Thank you for that information! I am definitely going to try to make it out there for the event. Already getting great information and it hasn't even been a week!
