Hello all. I'm a new guy from Michigan that loves keeping his car clean. I work in the car business but not as a professional detailer. I have always loved to keep my car clean but last year I bought a black Taurus SHO and this past winter was brutal to it. As I walked away after washing it earlier this spring I couldn't believe how bad the paint looked.
Fast forward I bought a DA polisher after reading how idiot proof they were and about 3 weeks ago I did a full detail ( wash, clay, compound, polish and wax). I used all Meguiars products and for the most part the car came out great. I couldn't believe it actually and now I'm totally hooked on waxing and learning all I can about detailing and keeping the paint beaming.
Sorry for the long story. Hope to contribute as I learn and pick up lots of tips from the veterans here.:xyxthumbs:
