Hows it going everyone. Trying to start up a mobile detailing business while going to school at MSU. Love the saite, it has been super helpful. Currently just trying to build a customer base. I do have one question. With there being so many brands out their for detailers to buy, what brand should I use to start out? I am talking about everything from wheel cleaner to wax, car wash, glass cleaner.... everything. I know i am asking for alot but I would just like to see what you guys/ girls use. thanks in advance
 
Welcome! :welcome: There are more opinions than products so asking what is best to start with is a REALLY loaded question! The trouble is, most all of the products out there work, depending upon how well you follow the instructions and how well you have learned the basics. My personal preference is Meguiars, because they cover pretty much all the bases for doing a car from the tires on up. However I still use stuff from other manufacturers as well. You'll have to try different products and just see what works for YOU. Trial and error can get expensive, but there is no subsitute for experience. I try to shorten the learning curve by reading up on this site, but it still comes down to what products you feel the most comfortable with.

That is all I can think of all the top of my head. That is most of the products I use. I have alot of differant brushes for the wheels egine and door jams. Products are all personal prefrence. Like Mike Phillips say "find something you like, use it often"

Wheel Cleaner - P21S Wheel Gel (safe on all wheels and will clean the dirtiest of wheels/tires)
All Purpose Cleaner - Megs with matching bottle
Car wash soap - Megs Gold or Megs NXT
Tire Dressing - 3:1 Megs Hyper Dressing
Plastic Dressings - 4:1 Megs Hyper Dressing
Wax - Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, DP Max Wax, Megs Cleaner Wax (daily drivers that need alot of work but just want a wax)
Paint Sealant - Wolfgang Paint Sealant 3.0
Interior Cleaner - Griot Garage Interior Cleaner
Engien Bay - Megs APC 4:1 or Griot Garage Engine Cleaner
Carpet Shampoo - DP Carpet Cleaner
10 galloon compressor (use to drow down interior, engine bay, ect)
Wet/Dry 6HP Shop Vac
Flex DA
Flex Rotary
Polish - Megs 205, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze
Compound - Megs 105, Intensive Polish
Pads - Lake Country
