Hi, folks. Name is Billy.
Been a lurker, learner, and Auto Geek store purchaser for a while now.
A business partner and I started a part-time detailing gig a few months ago. (He is on here somewhere.) We mostly focus on paint corrections and ceramic coatings or waxes, but also do other odd and end jobs ie. load leveling bags, light bars, audio install, misc. repairs...you get the idea. As of now we do this out of our garage's. We hope to change this by mid to late next year.
We have leaned a ton of info here and cannot thank each and everyone of you.
For polishers, we have the following,
2-Flex 3401's
1-Griots G21
1-Griots 3"
1-PC 7424xp
1-HF polisher (converted to 3")
Here are a few pics of what we have done recently. (Please excuse some of the photos, my partner needs to learn to camera better lol)
2002 Tacoma (Wash, wax, engine bay-de-clay) 147,000 miles IIRC.
Owner wanted it cleaned up to unload it.
This was a test spot, paint was very chalky.

Engine before

Engine after

2013 Mercedes C250 (Wash, IronX, Clay, 2-step polish w/Griots creams, Ceramic Coated)

700HP+ 2004 Cobra (Wash, IronX, Clay, 2-step polish w/Griots creams, Pinnacle Wax)

Swirl finder

No more! This was pre-wax.

My personal-2015 Silverado (I keep it waxed. I may coat it in the very near future.)

My wife's 2016 X1 (It is coated)
